OEM vs ODM — Which Is Right for Your Brand?

If you're building a clothing brand and sourcing from a manufacturer, you'll quickly come across two terms: OEM and ODM. They sound similar but they mean very different things.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means you provide the design and we produce it. You bring us your sketches, colour references, fabric preferences, and sizing — and we bring it to life. This is ideal for brands that already have a strong design identity and want full control over every detail.

ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) means we design it and you sell it under your own label. You browse our seasonal collections, choose the styles that fit your market, and add your branding. This is perfect for new brands or buyers who want to move quickly without a design team.

At KTPK we offer both. Many of our clients start with ODM to test the market, then move to OEM once they know what their customers love.

Not sure which is right for you? Contact us and we'll help you decide.
