Family owned business and we believe of what we do.

In 1987, a determined woman named Poungaka embarked on a journey to Bangkok, the capital, in search of a better life. Her passion for handcrafted items filled her heart, and she initially worked as a seamstress for a boss. Little did she know that soon she would bring a new life into the world, which ignited her ambition even further.

To pursue her dreams, Poungaka purchased a sewing machine for herself. Working with her sister. The only 2 ladies.. From that moment forward, she became an independent worker, handling everything from cutting fabric to sewing and delivering orders to clients. During those early years, the products she created were primarily ordinary printed clothes.

As a young child, I have fond memories of staying late at school while my mom tirelessly worked and could pick me up at 6 PM from school. Sometimes, she would drop me in the early hours of the morning, before delivering her creations. These experiences continued until I was around ten years old.

It was during this time that my mother crossed paths with a skilled individual who possessed knowledge of the tie dye color technique. This individual still remains an integral part of our team to this day. Through countless experiments and trials, my mother discovered how to infuse vibrant and long-lasting colors onto garments using this unique technique. Recognizing its potential, she decided to offer clothes created through this innovative coloring method.

As the years passed, machines and technology gradually replaced human labor, and fashion trends evolved. However, what we do at Poungaka has endured. For nearly a decade, I have believed in the power of selling not only these distinctive clothes but also the captivating stories behind them. Now, our challenge lies in having more clients than we can handle. This has prompted us to seek opportunities for expansion, extending our working space, and welcoming new employees to join us in pursuing our passion.

We are driven by the desire to showcase our handcrafted designs and share the artistry and narratives woven into each piece. Our aim is to create garments that resonate with our loyal clients, who we consider family and friends. We pour our hearts into every design and color selection, tying rubber bands as depicted in our pictures, and immersing the fabric in primary colors. The resulting fusion of colors produces a truly unique work of art—garments that are unmatched in the world.
